I wanted to let you know my next physical challenge for myself. Instead of doing a 5k this fall I decided that I am going to challenge myself in a new way. I am going to climb up the Sear's Tower. On November 12, 2006 I will climb up 2, 109 steps, that's 103 stories. I will be doing it to raise money for cancer research. This is a group that raises money for scientist to do research on cures for all forms of cancer. Since my Mom died of cancer, 10 years ago this coming Christmas, this is an important issue to me.

I started losing weight in 2008 and over the next two years lost 106 pounds. In 2010 my life changed when I got diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Over the next two years I gained back 100 pounds. I'm taking my life back. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Today is my fresh start and it can be yours too.
