Wrote to Dr. Phil today

Today I wrote to Dr. Phil on behalf of all the children diagnosed with Trisomy 13 and 18. I wrote to him about my friend, Michael Hennessy. I told him about Michael's goal of beating the Guiness World Record for the most Ironmans in a year. I told him how Michael is doing it to raise awareness for these precious children and their families.

I'm asking that everyone will pray that the right person will read this and that they will consider doing a show. Thanks for your prayers. This is something really important to Michael, me, and the families of these children. Thanks.

Also, if any of you would happen to know anyone that would want to sponsor Michael and TEAM TRISOMY please email me. My email address is in my profile.

Hey Melissa,
I wrote Oprah one year when the SOFT Conference was in Chicago. I did not hear from her, maybe Dr. Phil will do better!! Hey, if you do hear from him, tell him Samuel and I would love to come be a part of the show! I will definately pray that your email will get noticed--just think how many people would hear about our kids and the wonderful thing that people like Michael and you are trying to do for them. Thanks again for jumping in there and doing what you are for our children. You are truly a God send!

Gchi-Miigwech!!
(translation from my native Ojibwe language---BIG THANKS!!)

What a labour of love and unconditional acceptance. I greatly admire yours and Michael's compassion for our special children. I will be praying that someone stands up and takes notice of your letter to Dr. Phil.

Even though my sweet boy Nimkee didn't stay long--his presence shall forever linger in our home and in the hearts of all those who know him. I look forward to a day when all our precious babies/children are fully accepted and valued as ALL life should be! Your mission will surely help make this vision a reality for me, and so many others like myself.

Much love and admiration...and Nimkee blessings!!!
