2nd meeting with coach

OH MY GOSH!!!! I am so sore, but it's a good sore, but still sore. I really like Matt. He is really going to be good for me and really whip me into shape. I didn't feel so down after today and I was actually surprised at what I could do. :-) One thing for sure that will take some getting used to is when I feel like I'm going to die and can't do anymore he says, "Give me 5 more." The amazing thing is I do it.

I will be using the TRX Suspension Training System for my weight training. It is the coolest thing I have ever done and I felt like I got more of a workout than ever before in a shorter time. You use your own body weight to train. I did squats where you lean back using all your weight and squat, I leaned all the way back and had to pull myself up, and did something where I worked my triceps, and forearms, and also did push ups. I love it.

If any of you have used this let me know what you think. I love it. I hated it while I was doing, but loved it at the same time. Does that make sense?

Melissa,I totally know where you are coming from. When i started with my train now a little over a month ago the first few sessions I was like holy crap I couldn't sit,walk or stand. I had a hard time getting into bed or sitting down anywhere. But as time went one it got better, now I just love going. She told me it is a good burn! I see Holly 2X a week. I ahve lost inches in a month, I bought a pants size smaller already!Also just to let you know I am staying about the same in weight and don't want you to get discouraged because that bother me.. But muscle weighs more then fat! I can see muscles tone in my arms it is the best.
Keep up the good work, it is only going to get better!

I have never heard of TRX suspension training, but it sounds interesting.

Glad your second meeting withc the coach went well. It's funny what we'll do if someone (coach, trainer, therapist, etc) tells us to do while they are watching vs. what we WONT do if we're by our selves.

thanks for the note. I am so glad that you are enjoying the training. It is a "good" burn.

I have been looking around the blogosphere for others doing or volunteering IMAZ so they look out for Michael. I was thinking I would wait a little bit to post a "hey look for" comment.
