The next fitness step is for the woman in the picture to trade the desk chair for a stability ball. My fitness magazines say it helps strengthen and tone your core while you're just sitting there working. Of course, if I did that in my classroom, I'm pretty sure I would lose whatever control I had : )

A lot of kids sit on balls in Parker's class, so you could maybe get away with doing it unless you were bouncing all over the place on it. :) That would be a problem. HAHA
I always have first graders falling out of their chairs. I couldn't imagine if they were on balls! Of course, I remember how much my kids liked those hopping balls with the handles. I guess it's the same kind of thing!
And I can't believe that the model is smiling during all this. Doesn't that make you want to kill her? Just a little?
