Well, folks, I did it. I can now say that I am a Triathlete. Below are my results. My goal was to to the Tri in under 3 hours. I did that. Another goal was to not be last in my age division. Did that too. :-) I will blog more about the actual event when I get home and can include some pictures. All I can say is it was AWESOME. I have just proven to myself that I can do anything I put my mind to. I just wanted to thank you all for your support and encouragment through all of this. I could not have done it without you.

I started losing weight in 2008 and over the next two years lost 106 pounds. In 2010 my life changed when I got diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Over the next two years I gained back 100 pounds. I'm taking my life back. Today is the first day of the rest of my life. Today is my fresh start and it can be yours too.

GOOD JOB! You are such a motivation to me at this very moment. I have been reading through the forum on Active.com and am getting so psyched to train for my first tri. So, check my blog mid september, and you'll see a similar shout of joy coming from my corner of the web.

Wow, I am soooo happy for you. I'm so sorry that we lost touch. I haven't heard from you in a while, the next thing I know, your a triathlete! Way to go. I can't wait to see pictures. I'm very proud of you.
