Student Teaching

I got the call today with my student teaching placement. I let my college know that Wauconda was my first choice, but that I would student teach anywhere. Wauconda is where I live. The grade I would like to teach is 3rd grade. I got placed in Wauconda in a 3rd grade classroom at a school called Robert Crown Elementary School. The school is just 5 minutes from my house. It works out great because I still have to get home and get my 3rd grader off the bus. This really makes everything more real to me and makes me even more motivated to finish my homework.

Speaking of which . . . . I need to get going.

God is good all the time. All the time God is good.

Remember at the end of each day to think about how blessed you are not how stressed you are.

Congrats Melissa... What a fun job! That is sure something to look forward to this fall. Better yet it is in your hometown. Better probably to get a real teaching job when you are done student teaching. Keep up the great work! :O)

Congratulations on getting the grade you wanted and a school in your town! Sounds like it will be very convenient. With your positive attitude, I'm sure you will be a fantastic teacher! May God bless you in your endeavors.

Congrats on getting your first choice! I've had a lot of friends go through student teaching in places they really didn't want to be.

In other news... the Baby Bear is trying very, very hard to crawl and if I put him down I keep finding him in random corners of the room (he's stuck in reverse). Pretty soon he'll be running laps around me.
